Darwin Bayston, CFA

Founder & Principal Researcher. Published widely on topics related to the financial needs of seniors in retirement and frequent speaker at financial services and industry conferences. He was Chairman of the Martha Jefferson Hospital Foundation Board. Served as President and CEO of the CFA Institute. He was also an adjunct professor at the Darden Graduate Business School and the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He was an instructor for the American Bankers’ Association National Trust School. He has authored and co-authored several books on the topics of finance and investment and edited multiple publications on a multitude of various topics related to finance and retirement. Before founding the Institute, he served for 7 years as the President and CEO of the Life Insurance Settlement Association.

Victoria Poindexter

Executive Director Expertise in navigating complex regulatory requirements having worked in two prominent universities for over 20 years in research administration and compliance. She is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the Institute as well as marketing and community outreach.
